A WIPO Broadcasting Treaty – maybe this time….?

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) will meet in mid-April to further discuss a new draft broadcasting treaty (http://www.wipo.int/edocs/mdocs/copyright/en/sccr_24/sccr_24_10.pdf), designed to bolster the protections available to broadcasters (by providing Treaty protection to the transmission “signal”).
