GB: Gambling Commission publishes final set of responses to licensing conditions consultation

Following last year’s consultation, the Gambling Commission has published the the final two documents which set out the responses to the consultation and the Commission’s consequential position.

  • LCCP changes part two: relates to the protection of customer funds can be accessed here.
  • LCCP changes part three: relates to the requirements to only use gambling software supplied by licensed operators, changes regarding poker and other networks as well as a number of other amendments. Part three can be accessed here.

The consolidated Licence Conditions and Code of Practice will be published very shortly and will form the basis of remote gambling regulation in Great Britain going forward.

However, as part of an on-going process, the Gambling Commission will also be consulting on, and making amendments to, the social responsibility provisions set out in the LCCP as well as those relating to free bets and bonuses.

A more detailed summary will follow from us in due course.
