Global: Data Protection Laws of the World v2

DLA Piper’s Global Data Protection and Privacy Group has recently refreshed the Data Protection Laws of the World Handbook and now launches the Second Edition.The handbook gives an overview of the features of data protection law, including international data transfer restrictions, security obligations and breach notification requirements.

This second edition has been updated to also cover electronic marketing and online privacy including cookies and location data. The jurisdictions covered now number 63, with new entries for Costa Rica, Honduras, Morocco, Panama and Trinidad & Tobago.
